If you are interested in entering the garden competition for the next show, then please use the form below. There is a limited number of entrants allowed, so you will not be guaranteed an entry.

This is a light-hearted event judged in June – the winners will be announced and receive annual cups at the Turnditch & Windley Show on Saturday 7 September 2024.

• Knowledgeable independent judges to chat gardens with.
• Garden Competition will be judged in June.
• Small and large categories – determined based on the entries for the year.
• Annual awards:
  • Large category: The Parish Council Perpetual Challenge Cup – returned at the end of the year.
  • Small category: The Scholes Perpetual Challenge Shield – returned at the end of the year.

• All gardens around the area of Ashbourne Road (Turnditch/Cowers Lane) and Windley Lane (A517 Ashbourne Road to B5023 Wirksworth Road) wanted and welcome (limited number of entrants each year, apply early to secure a place).
• 1st placed in each section do not enter the following year.
